אליסון
גילדת התפירה והטקסטיל היא מרחב יצירתי וחברתי לעבודה עם בדים, חוטים וחומרים מכל הסוגים. כאן אפשר לתפור, לרקום, להדפיס ולצייר על בד, ליצור קולאז'ים, אביזרים ואמנות לבישה, ולתת חיים חדשים לבגדים וטקסטילים ישנים. זהו מקום להתנסות, ללמוד ולפתח רעיונות אישיים - גם למי שעושה את הצעדים הראשונים בעולם הטקסטיל וגם ליוצרות ויוצרים מנוסים. בלב הגילדה נמצאת האמונה שיצירתיות קיימת בכולנו, ושכשהידיים יוצרות - משהו גם בלב מתעורר.
The Textile Guild is a creative and social space for working with fabric, thread, and a wide variety of materials. Here you can sew, embroider, print and paint on fabric, create textile collages, accessories and wearable art, and give new life to old clothes and textiles. It’s a place to experiment, learn, and develop your own ideas – whether you’re taking your first steps into textile art or already have years of experience. At the heart of the guild is the belief that creativity lives in all of us, and that when we create with our hands, we nourish our hearts too.

סטודיו פתוח
הסטודיו הפתוח הוא מרחב נינוח ותומך שבו כל אחת ואחד יכולים לעבוד על פרויקט אישי, ללמוד טכניקה חדשה או לחזור למיומנויות שנשכחו עם השנים. מכונות תפירה, בדים, חוטים, כלי עבודה ושלל חומרי יצירה עומדים לרשות המשתתפים, לצד ליווי והדרכה לפי הצורך. אפשר להביא גם בגדים, בדים וחפצים אהובים מהבית ולהפוך אותם למשהו חדש ואישי. הסטודיו נועד להיות קהילה יוצרת - מקום של שיחה, צחוק, רעיונות משותפים והשראה הדדית.
לצד הסטודיו הפתוח יתקיימו סדנאות וקורסים מעשיים סביב טכניקות ופרויקטים שונים – מתפירה, רקמה ואפליקציה ועד מיחדוש בגדים, אמנות לבישה ויצירה משולבת בטקסטיל.
The Open Studio is a relaxed and supportive space where everyone can work on a personal project, learn a new technique, or rediscover skills they may have forgotten over the years. Sewing machines, fabrics, threads, tools, and a variety of creative materials will be available, with guidance whenever needed. Participants are also encouraged to bring treasured clothes, fabrics, or textiles from home and transform them into something new and personal. More than a classroom, the studio is meant to feel like a creative community – full of conversation, laughter, shared ideas, and inspiration.
Alongside the Open Studio, hands-on workshops and courses will explore different techniques and projects – from sewing, embroidery, and appliqué to upcycling, wearable art, and mixed-media textile work
על המנחה
אני אליסון, אמא גאה לחמישה וסבתא לחמישה נכדים נפלאים. נולדתי וגדלתי בדרום אפריקה, עליתי לישראל ב־1993, ולאחר שנים רבות בדרום אפריקה אני חוזרת עכשיו לישראל ולפרק חדש בחיי - כחלק ממשפחת Grannies Garage.
היצירה מלווה אותי מאז שלימדתי את עצמי לתפור כנערה, ומאז המשכתי ללמוד, להתנסות וללמד כמעט כל טכניקה שסקרנה אותי- מתפירה, רקמה ואמנות לבישה ועד הדפס, מיחדוש, נגרות, עיסת נייר ומדיה מעורבת. לאורך השנים הובלתי גם פרויקטים קהילתיים וסדנאות יצירה לילדים.
אני מאמינה שיצירתיות קיימת בכל אחת ואחד מאיתנו. אנחנו לא צריכים להיות "אמנים" - רק לתת לעצמנו רשות לנסות, לטעות וליהנות מהדרך. אני אוהבת ללמד בסבלנות ובגובה העיניים, ובעיקר לראות אנשים מגלים שהם מסוגלים ליצור משהו בעצמם. אני מגיעה לגראז' עם הרבה ניסיון, אבל גם עם רצון להמשיך ללמוד, לקבל השראה וליצור יחד.
I’m Allyson, a proud mother of five and grandmother to five wonderful grandchildren. I was born and raised in South Africa and made Aliyah in 1993. After many years back in South Africa, I’m now returning to Israel for a new chapter in my life – and to become part of the Grannies Garage family.
Creativity has been part of my life since I taught myself to sew as a teenager. Since then, I’ve continued learning, experimenting, and teaching almost every technique that sparked my curiosity – from sewing, embroidery, and wearable art to printing, upcycling, carpentry, papier-mâché, and mixed media. Over the years, I’ve also been involved in community art projects and creative workshops for children.
I believe creativity lives inside every one of us. We don’t have to be “artists” – we simply need to give ourselves permission to explore, make mistakes, and enjoy the process. I love teaching with patience and encouragement, and especially seeing people discover what they are capable of creating with their own hands. I come to Grannies Garage with years of experience, but also with an open heart and a desire to keep learning, be inspired, and create together.
